You shouldn't have to log in to a dashboard to find out when a great lead has completed your quiz. With a Slack integration, you don't have to - the lead comes to you.
We configure a Slack notification that fires whenever a lead completes your assessment. The message arrives in whatever Slack channel you designate - your personal direct messages, a shared #leads channel, or a dedicated #quiz-results channel - and includes the lead's name, email, overall score, result tier, and a summary of their top and bottom dimension scores. For multi-coach practices, we can route notifications to different channels based on the lead's result type, so the right coach sees the right lead immediately.
The most common use case is high-score alerting: you set a threshold, and Slack only notifies you when a lead hits it. That way you're not drowning in low-priority pings - you're only interrupted when it matters.
How the integration works
We set up conditional notification logic: notify on all completions, or only when score exceeds a threshold, or only for specific result tiers.
The Slack message includes the lead's name, email, overall score, result category, standout dimension scores, and a direct link to their full result record.
For team environments, notifications for different result categories or score bands route to different Slack channels - so the right person sees the right lead.
